Kindred Knits Auto Vest

Say hello to automobile cuteness!

Three vintage inspired cars zoom across the front of this basic childs vest, designed using Louet’s Gems in Sport Weight – it’s superwash, people!  The cars were knit using wee bits of Louet Gems, but you could certainly use any scrap sport weight yarn you had rolling around the bottom of your yarn bins.

Fast, cute, a sure crowd pleasure at the next baby shower!

Needles
US 5  (3.75mm) circular needles, or size
needed to obtain gauge
US 3 (3.25mm) circular needles

Stitch markers, stitch holder, tapestry

Gauge
24 sts and 32 rows = 4″ (10cm) in pat
using larger needles
