I’m working it in the Elann Peruvian Baby Cashmere – it worked to gauge on a #5 needle. I’m half way through the raglan increases, so far so good. I’ve been saving it for just the right pattern (for 3 years) I believe this is it!!!

I love this pullover! And it’s so perfect in the Fresco–think I’ll be off to my LYS this aft. to check out colour options. I so enjoyed making the Featherweight cardi and I hope this pattern is just as fun/easy.

Hi Hannah, you had mentioned in the preview post that mal lace and similar yarns that people have used for the featherweight cardigan would work. Do you think it’d be a good idea?

Another beaut. I’ve barely started a Featherweight, but think I may want to use that yarn for this instead. I’m a little short of yardage, for the XS, only 1,100 yds. Hmmm, perhaps shorter sleeves

While the alpaca in Fresco certainly contributes to the drape of this pullover, there are plenty of other yarns that would work nicely. It will be fun to see what knitters use as FO’s start showing up on Ravelry. In the meantime, here are some yarns I might suggest: Garnstudio Drops Alpaca, Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport, Rowan Felted Tweed, Malabrigo Silky Merino, Knitpicks City Tweed or Andean Treasure, Blue Sky Alpacas Sport Weight Alpaca, Berocco Ultra Alpaca Light… anyone else have suggestions?

looks great! i’ve just bought the pattern. question however: do you have any recommendations for yarn subs…is the alpaca necessary for that nice drape? i’d love to use the fresco but 10 skeins of that yarn would do quite a number on my budget. thanks for another winning design!
