I started a quilt for my boy.

I made him this hat using leftover Fresco – I love the stripes and the soft halo.

Over the weekend I started this pattern, using Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino.

Oh, and I have made some progress on the Vine Yoke Cardigan, I’m half way across the back.

I love love love that quilt. It is gorgeous.
And there really isn’t a better feeling that seeing your kiddo run (or crawl, or sleep) around in something that you’ve made for them. It makes me feel all fuzzy inside.

Looks great and I am glad to see you post. Isn’t that hat EZ’s gnome hat?

The quilt is amazing! I’m looking for a baby quilt pattern to make for my brother’s baby due next year – do you mind sharing this pattern?

It’s very loosely based on a pattern for the book Quilts, Baby It is super easy, it’s all about choosing fun fabric, and you scatter in a few embroidered woodland creatures.
