Pretty Much Finished: Vine Yoke Cardigan
I bound of my Vine Yoke Cardigan yesterday and blocked it overnight to measurement.

It was fun to knit, especially using the Malabrigo worsted. I am not sure if I will love wearing it yet. We shall see once I find the appropriate buttons, which won’t be until I can actually make my way to the store to buy buttons. I tried shopping on-line, but I think buttons are something I need to shop in person.
I started a new baby design out of Classic Elite Yarn’s Soft Linen. I am super excited about it, and it’s flying off the needles, so hopefully there will be a pattern sooner than later…

I’m interested to see that your cardigan photographs so much like my colourway stone blue even though it is paris night (from which I made a scarf)!! I have never knitted anything with such curious construction but it seems to work and is fairly varied so I’m persevering (in among the Xmas knitting!!) until mine is complete. Buttons, hm, that is always difficult, but I may try online, since there is nothing inspiring in my vicinity so far!
Meanwhile, I wish you all the best for the birth of your son and getting settled into motherhood – my grandson is now 16 mths and a joy! I had 3 daughters myself, so it’s quite a novelty…

Absolutely love this cardigan. Can’t wait to see more pictures and will most likely purchase. Congrats on motherhood. I know you are loving it and will be knitting away for your new addition to your family.
