How about “Susurrus” – a soft murmur or rustle. I immediately thought of this word because I recently just re-read Terry Pratchett’s _The Wee Free Men_, which features this passage:

“Susurrus . . . according to her grandmother’s dictionary, it meant ‘a low soft sound, as of whispering or muttering’. Tiffany liked the taste of the word. It made her think of mysterious people in long cloaks whispering important secrets behind a door: susurrususssurrusss . . . “

I keep coming back to your blog in anticipation, hoping to find the new version to be up. i’ve been thinking that perhaps you should name the new 2.0 version: Subtle.

For the simple reason that a whisper is louder than a shout, and i think the design is so popular because of the simplicity and elegance that comes through in the way it is constructed. It’s not a ‘loud’ in your face design, but is just, ahhh, lovely. can’t wait til it’s up! i need some simple knitting to get me away from uni finals! xx

“Dandelion” – as in spring wind blowing the hair of my sweet 3 year-old as he blows dandelion pods.
