Wool Trip Pop Up Shop

Wow!  What a busy summer our family had.  As a result, what a busy September we had getting caught up around here!  I just popped into my blog and realized I have not been in the space for quite some time.

If you subscribe to our feed, you most likely followed along as we produced our own small batch of yarn over the summer.  In case you missed it, read the full account HERE.

We launched our Wool Trip Pop up Shop at the end of August and were delighted to see delighted knitters scooping up our yarn.  We also produced a t-shirt to commemorate the project.

If you missed the launch of the shop, we have some yarn and t-shirts left, get them while you can!  Once they are gone, they're gone forever.

Last week we enjoyed taking Wool Trip on the road to the Squam Art Fair in Holderness, NH and the Knitting Pipeline Retreat in Kennebunk, Maine.  Getting a chance to tell the story in person got us excited about this project all over again.

One of the funnest stages of this project was returning to the Organic sheep farm where we sourced our wool to photograph a new design knitted in our yarn.  Enjoy a little excerpt of the shoot with our friends Birch Blaze on our YouTube channel!

Here's a fun look behind the scenes of our Wool Trip photo shoot with our friends Birch Blaze. We returned to the organic sheep farm where we sourced wool for our small batch of yarn, Wool Trip. The sweaters the models are wearing are knitted in our yarn!
