<p>The Effortless Cardigan features <a href="http://www.madelinetosh.com/yarns-tosh-worsted.html">madelinetosh tosh DK</a>,  which has a  recommended gauge of 5.5 &#8211; 5 sts/inch on a US 6 &#8211; 7 needle, making it  closer to a worsted weight.  If you are looking to  substitute yarn, I  would suggest worsted weight to get the fabric  right.  That said, if you  can get your hands on tosh DK, do it, it&#8217;s  fantastic and perfect for  this cardigan!</p>
