<p>Thursday night Jessica and I listened to Cat Bordhi talk about the architecture of sox.</p>
<p><a href="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/cat.jpg" title="cat.jpg"><img src="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/cat.jpg" alt="cat.jpg" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/cat2.jpg" title="cat2.jpg"><img src="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/cat2.jpg" alt="cat2.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Cat Bordhi = brilliant</p>
<p><a href="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/author.jpg" title="author.jpg"><img src="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/author.jpg" alt="author.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Karida Collins of the <a href="http://www.neighborhoodfiberco.com/colorways/">Neighborhood Fiber Company</a> hosted me for a book signing on Friday (thanks, Karida!)</p>
<p>She has a book coming out in March with F &amp; W Publications called Pints &amp; Purls.</p>
<p><a href="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/fibre.jpg" title="fibre.jpg"><img src="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/fibre.jpg" alt="fibre.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>I met <a href="http://www.zeitgeistyarns.blogspot.com/">Catherine Gagnon</a> and <a href="http://thepatternfactory.blogspot.com/">Courtney Kelley</a> of <a href="http://www.kelbournewoolens.com/index.html">Kelbourne Woolens</a>.  They are now exclusive distributors of  The Fibre Company!</p>
<p><a href="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/yarn.jpg" title="yarn.jpg"><img src="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/yarn.jpg" alt="yarn.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Jessica amidst crazy yarn shopping ladies.</p>
<p><a href="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/goods.jpg" title="goods.jpg"><img src="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/goods.jpg" alt="goods.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Here&#8217;s what I came home with &#8211; not too bad, right?</p>
<p><a href="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/jordaina.jpg" title="jordaina.jpg"><img src="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/jordaina.jpg" alt="jordaina.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>My very own <a href="http://www.jordanapaige.com/index.php">Jordana Paige</a> bag!  It has some super nerdy awesome knitter specific features, I love it.</p>
<p><a href="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/mailbrego.jpg" title="mailbrego.jpg"><img src="http://knitbot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/mailbrego.jpg" alt="mailbrego.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>And my new love: <a href="http://www.malabrigoyarn.com/">malabrigo</a> everything.  I specifically brought home a skein of lace weight and a skein of sock yarn.</p>
<p>And now to take a break from traveling for a while&#8230;</p>
