AUTUMNAL CARDIGAN

v.030812

On the "divide for armholes" row, there should be an asterisk at the beginning of the sentence:

RS: *Knit to 6 (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) sts before m, BO 12 (12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24) sts; repeat once from *, knit to end.

v.111811

After setup row, pattern states: Decrease row (RS): *Knit to 4 sts before m, k2tog, k2, sm, k2; repeat once from *, knit to end. 4 sts decreased.

It should say (RS): *Knit to 4 sts before m, k2tog, k2, sm, k2, ssk; repeat once from *, knit to end. 4 sts decreased.

DPN's are not necessary, and incorrectly listed in the supply list!  The sleeves are worked in flat.

The increase row for the sleeves currently reads: Increase row (RS): K2, M1L, knit to last 2 sts, M1R, k1. 2 sts increased.

It should say: (RS): K2, M1L, knit to last 2 sts, M1R, k2. 2 sts increased.

(Note - the above is errata for the earliest version of this pattern.  The pattern has since been revised, all these corrections have been incorporated.)

Under Left Front, changes in bold below:

Decrease row (RS): K2, ssk, knit to end. 1 st decreased.

Repeat Decrease row every RS row 2 (6, 11, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7) times, then every 4th row 2 (2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0) times. 17 (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) sts.

Under Right Front, changes in bold below:

Decrease row (RS): Knit to last 4 sts, k2tog. 1 st decreased.

Repeat Decrease row every RS row 2 (6, 11, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7) times, then every 4th row 2 (2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0) times. 17 (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) sts.

BABY FROCK

v.081312

Setup row of pattern should be knit, not purl: K36 (40, 44, 46, 50), pm, knit to end of rnd.

BREEZY CARDIGAN

First RS row after the Setup (WS) Row should read: RS: K1, M1L, (knit to 1 st before m, M1R, k1, sm, k1, M1L) 4 times, knit to 1 st from end of row, M1R, k1. 10 sts increased

CALLIGRAPHY CARDIGAN

v.042111

Bands are worked on same size needle as body, although personal preference may dictate that you choose to use a size or two smaller needles.  Under Button band, it says to use US 5 needles which are not listed under supplies.

As written, the sleeve stitch count for some sizes after working decreases is not divisible by four as it needs to be to work the k2, p2 rib for the cuffs.  Changes are highlighted below to correct this.

Repeat this decrease round every 10 (10, 9, 8) [7, 6, 5, 4] rounds 7 (8, 8, 10)[11, 13, 15, 19] times more. 44 (52, 60, 64)[72, 76, 80, 80] sts.

EFFORTLESS CARDIGAN

After working the waist shaping, the stitch count for size 42 is incorrectly listed.  It should be 214 (234, 256, 274, 296, 316) sts.

FEATHERWEIGHT CARDIGAN

v.042011

A clarification of Row 1: Some confusion is coming because there are only 2 stitches cast on for each sleeve. On the first row, you M1L and then immediately M1R. Here’s your setup row: P2 (front), pm, p2 (sleeve), pm, p44 (46, 48, 50, 52)54, 56, 58, 60, 62, pm, p2 (sleeve), pm, p2 (front). Spelled out, row 1 reads like this: Row 1 (RS): K1, M1R, k1, sm, k1, M1L, M1R, k1, sm, k1, M1L, k to 1 st before m, M1R, k1, sm, k1, M1L, M1R, k1, sm, k1, M1L, k1. I hope this is helpful! It should be smooth sailing past this point.

LIGHTWEIGHT PULLOVER

v.041111

A correction when dividing the sleeves from the body: you are instructed to first knit the sleeves and then place the sleeve stitches on a stitch holder, then casting on for the underarm.  In fact you should not knit the sleeve stitches before placing them on a stitch holder.  Instead: Place 66 (74, 82, 90, 98, 106) sleeve stitches on a holder, remove marker, using backward loop method cast on 3, k100 (110, 120, 130, 140, 150), cast on 3, place 66 (74, 82, 90, 98, 106) sleeve stitches on a holder, pm, cast on 3, knit to end of round, cast on 3, pm. This is the new beginning of the round.

ROCKY COAST CARDIGAN

v.092712

The final st count for the sleeves after all decreases has been worked should be 36 (36, 40, 40, 44, 44, 48, 48).  The cuff circumference on the schematic should be be 9 (9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 12)" / 23 (23, 25.5, 25.5, 28, 28, 30.5, 30.5) cm.

v.print book

An adjustment can be made to both lengthen the yoke and increase the sleeve circumference.  Directions are here.

SCHOODIC CARDIGAN

Begin raglan decreases Should read: (RS): (Work as established to 3 sts before m, k2tog, k1, sm, k1, ssk) 4 times, work to end. [8 sts dec’d]

Under Shape Shoulders and Back Neck should read: Rep rows 1 - 4, 9 (7, 6, 5, 4, 1, 0) times more, then work rows 1 and 2 once more - 91 (93, 95, 99, 101, 105, 109) sts: 26 front sts, 4 sleeve sts, 31 (33, 35, 39, 41, 45, 49) back sts. Next row (RS): Work 24 right front collar sts, bind off remaining sts until 24 left front collar sts remain, work collar sts and place on a holder. Break yarn.

SOCK YARN SWEATER - CHILD  v.050211

A clarification: The page break in the middle of the sleeve instructions has caused some confusion. Please note that the first two paragraphs of the 3rd page apply are meant to be under the headingSizes 4-16 ONLY from page 2. Hence, the decrease round is only repeated on these larger sizes. If you’re knitting a smaller size head directly to the heading All sizes.

SOCK YARN SWEATER - ADULT

The number of sts to cast on for the smallest size is 136 (148, 160, 172, 180)[180, 180, 180, 180] sts.

Work rows 3 - 10 of Charts A and B, then work rows 1 - 5 once more.

The current measurements listed are what the yoke should approx measure before working that increase round that follows the chart.
