Announcing Kindred Knits

For the past year I have been working on my next collection of designs, intending it to be published as the follow up to Closely Knit.  I am pleased to announce that beginning tomorrow I will be releasing this collection, one pattern at a time, here on Knitbot! There will be 20 patterns total, for men, women and children.  Each pattern will be sized between infant and adult chest size 52!  I have worked hard to design pieces that lend themselves to being sized in such a wide range.

My hope is that you will find this approach appealing.  You will be able to choose which patterns you like, and can skip the ones that don't interest you.  Also, as inevitable errata comes to my attention, I will be able to immediately correct the pattern and send purchasers the update.

Patterns will cost $3.95.  I hope you find this to be a good value, as the range of sizes will allow a lot of use from each pattern.

Thank you, knitters, for all your support!

Elemental Boatneck Correction

Uh oh! The twisted rib chart printed in the pattern for the Elemental Boatneck is incorrect.  It reads that the twisted rib should be worked K1tbl, K1, when in fact it is K1tbl, P1.

ALSO, the linen stitch chart is wrong.  It shows it as a 4 stitch repeat, when in fact it is a 2 st repeat.

Work as follows: Row 1: * K1, bring yarn to front, Sl1, bring yarn to back * repeat to last 2 stitches, K2 Row 2: Purl to end on WS, Knit to end on RS. Row 3: K2, bring yarn to front * bring yarn to front, Sl1, bring yarn to back, K1 * repeat to end. Row 4: P to end on WS, K to end on RS

I apologize if this has lead anyone astray!
