My apologies for the lack of posts lately.  It turns out knitting and nausea are not the best of friends. owl.jpg

Now that I'm in my second trimester things are looking up!

Not a lot of knitting to report.  I did knit Kate Davies Owelet sweater out of Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool.  Very fun to watch the owl's appear!  I'm actually going to skip the buttons, I like my owl's subtle.

I have been trying to finish the handful of unfinished sweaters I have going.

The Tangled Yoke Cardigan is the one I'm tackling currently.

There will be some new designs in the near future.

I love seeing how much everyone is enjoying knitting Featherweight, and also Whisper.

I want to create another lightweight garment for y'all.  This time I'm going to kick it up to sport weight, using the beautiful Fresco by Classic Elite Yarns.

We will see what this becomes...

Kindred Knits Ribbed Pullover Vest

Introducing a pullover vest with flattering lines, available in sizes 2T - Women's XXL. vest1.jpg

vest4.jpg

Designed using the luxurious Road to China by The Fibre Company, this vest makes a stunning statement, especially in a color like Garnet!  Want to whip a vest up for summer?  The 18 x 24 gauge allows for a variety of yarns to be used.  How about Rowan Handknit Cotton?

Come fall, treat yourself to a luxury yarn like Road to China.  I can also suggest a few yarns most of us probably have in our stash, Cascade 220 or Berocco Ultra Alpaca.  Whatever your yarn of choice, this vest is a fast knit and good addition to any wardrobe...even a child's!  I will have a sample to show off soon in 2T...

Stash Busting!

Today felt like a cleaning day. I faced all the projects that are waiting to be finished.

I reorganized my shelves.

There.  Wait a minute, whats that behind me?

No!!! It's the bin of yarn I only have 1 skein of.  This bin haunts me.

So, in the spirit of cleaning up, I have listed some lots of yarn, along with a few sweaters worth of yarn, on ebay.  I am drowning in yarn, help me!
