Knit-a-long: Vine Yoke Cardian

First of all, for those of you who have been anxiously awaiting the release of my Light Weight Pullover pattern, I hope to have the pattern ready for purchase by this weekend. I will post it here the SECOND it's available!Meanwhile, Alana and I are going to start knitting Ysolda's Vine Yoke Cardigan starting next Monday (ish) if anyone wants to join in. We are both using Malabrigo worsted (fabulous). After much indecision, I decided on color #52, Paris Night.

I sort of want to start, like, right now, but I am trying to exercise self control. In the meantime, I am finishing the pair of Endpaper Mitts I started last summer.

Finished: Flutter Sleeved Blousy Lace Cardigan

I finished the Flutter Sleeved Blousy Lace Cardigan (whoo!  That's a mouth full...) sweaterbabe.jpg

I'm pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks now with my pregnant belly - I thought this would be a post pregnancy sweater.  It was a fun design to knit, and I especially liked knitting with Rowan Cashsoft.  I've made one other garment with it, years ago. I don't remember liking it as much the first time around.  It might have been DK, this time it was Aran.  Wearing it feels cozy and soft, and super lightweight.

On to the next sweater...

Handmade Shower

This past weekend was my first baby shower. cupcakes.jpg

I had finished the quilt I was working on in time to give to my friend, who was there, and in exchange I received some fabulous handmade gifts:
