We went to Rhinebeck...

...and boy was it fun! We drove down Friday, I wore my Swallowtail for the first time.

Saturday we arrived at the fair grounds around noon.  I finished my Ripley hat in the car on the way there!  I made it out of Alpaca with a Twist Baby Twist, thanks to my buddy Deirdre's helpful notes on knitting this pattern with worsted weight yarn.

We arrived just in time for the Ravelry meetup, where we got to see the Rav gang which is always a treat.

They had a mascot this year, Bob of course!

(pssst...that's Ysolda in there.  And  yes, she MADE that!)

I saw an old friend from last year.

Can you believe it, Carrie, it's the same llama I was so in love with!  His name is Aboo, he is from Hyde Park, right down the street from Rhinebeck.  See you next, year, buddy!

And look at these two love birds.

Come on!

Rhinebeck!

I am planning on being at Rhinebeck on Saturday, unless the fact that I'm 34 weeks pregnant becomes an issue. If you see me, say hi! I'll be wearing the Lightweight Pullover (I think, I haven't actually tried it on lately) and my husband will be wearing the Zip Up Cardigan. See you there!
