Giveaway Winner

Hey knitters - the winner of Rhinebeck Giveaway #6, selected at random, is...Amy!  That's all the info I have on you, Amy, other then your comment:

It’s very nice of you to accommodate those of us who can’t attend. I used to think that no one from the PNW would attend, but then a good friend from Portland did this year!

Send me an e-mail: hannah at knitbot dot com with your address so I can send you your loot!

Yarn Eye Candy from Webs

On the way back from Rhinebeck we stopped in Northampton, MA and I finally got to go to Webs.  I can't believe I've never been.  Well, I guess I can believe it, it is 3 1/2 hours from my house.  It certainly lived up to the hype, they have everything.  Of course the big draw is the warehouse full of discounted yarn in the back.  However, I found myself drawn to some things towards the front of the store. mt

tosh dk in Sequoia.  So pretty I can't even handle it - I've had it next to me all day so I can keep looking at it.

Buttons!  (Pssst, Kate, I'm still interested in THOSE buttons though...)

(and...psst Deirdre, won't those front buttons look awesome on the Honey cardigan you're working on?!)

blocking

and my splurge was this blocking board which is long overdue.  SO excited about it!

That's my gingerbread jacket blocking and waiting for buttons.

NYS Sheep & Wool Festival 2010

What a nice weekend in Rhinebeck, NY!  The weather and foliage were perfect. Sunday it was almost too warm to wear a sweater!  But wear them we did.  One of my favorite parts of the weekend was seeing everyone's knitwear.  I didn't take as many photos as I would have liked, between carrying the tote and my 10 month old, picture taking took a backseat. gianttote
