I just stopped at Knitwit for five minutes to drop something off, and ended up leaving with enough Road to China Light to make the Forest Mushroom mittens!
I also stole my Ribbed Pullover Vest sample back, out of Road to China Worsted. So soft and squishy.
And last night, despite my attempts to work on almost finished projects, I cast on the Side Slip Cloche that everyone else on the planet has made - except me. Until now!

The past few weeks I've been making an effort to finish projects that have piled up over time. Today, two hats.

Last night I discovered in a bin a few almost finished sweaters which I am going to make myself finish by the end of the year - one I started 4 years ago! And I actually still like it, amazingly.
But then today I discovered, uh oh, I want to make these mittens:
This past week while my husband was traveling I finished all kinds of projects, which feels fantastic. This is my favorite - Alana's Cedar Leaf Shawlette. I love the pattern, and I LOVE the yarn. Go buy this yarn right now, people, Malabrigo Twist in Sunset.
