New Studio
This past weekend we moved (again). The set up is pretty perfect, so hopefully we can stay here for awhile. Abe and I both have our own work spaces, which is fabulous after a long year of sharing. Here is where I will work:
Here is where I will knit:
I have to hit the ground running, no time to nest! I have a deadline this week with Nashua Yarn. There is another One Skein Wonders book being put together, this one with strictly luxury yarns. That deadline is next week. The fashion show deadline has come and gone (oops!) but Anna says I can have an extension. I have almost finished the back of the vest.
Oh, and I have to come up with a proposal for my follow up to Closely Knit. Hopefully my new space will be a good idea factory.
Fashion Show Entry in Progress
On March 1, Anna is hosting a fashion show at Zero Station. She's still accepting entries if you have something you would like to enter. Here are the beginnings of my vest, featuring my favorite yarn combination: The Fibre Company Khroma and Rowan Kidsilk Haze. It will have a low scoop neck with a wide rib in the red, and wide rib around the armholes.
Also, my latest Antrhopologie score. I have had my eye on this sweater for quite some time. Yesterday in Boston, I found this one with a button missing, so I was able to get a discount - yeah, justification!
