Based on knitters feedback, it seemed Rocky Coast Cardigan could use a little more room in the yoke and upper arm circumference. I set out to knit one for myself. (It took a few months rather than the few weeks I had originally hoped it would take me.) I decided to knit the 43" for myself which would give me about 7" of positive ease...when I'm not pregnant. Indeed once I completed the yoke I realized to achieve a proper fit I'd need to lengthen the yoke a bit and add about 2" of circumference to the sleeves.
After talking it over with my technical editor, I decided to work one more cable repeat to add length to the yoke, at the same time working increases on the sleeves only. Having finally finished the cardigan, it fits great with this small adjustment!
