Mabel's Closet Pattern Preview: Autumn Frock

Note: Mabel's Closet was due to release on the 19th. Due to an unexpected delay, it will be another week or so. I'll post the new release date as soon as I am sure of it! When I first found out I'd be having a baby girl, I said, I'll never put her in pink. Well, we all know that didn't stick. I've warmed right up to the color, and here's proof in the Autumn Frock. I love the subtlety of this Quince color: petal.

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I love stripes. This Stripe Hat may just be my favorite piece from the collection, with a button on the tippity top.

The scoop neck of Autumn Frock is plenty big to pull over babies head. Also, it's worked from the top down, so if you'd like it to be less like a dress and more like a pullover sweater - easy. Just work less rounds of the body!

Here's a photo Carrie took of Mabel wearing the little ensemble now, at 5 months, she was 3 months for the official photo shoot. Love. it.
