I worked this up last night. Abe thinks it looks like a tomato, but I've decided it passes as an apple. What do you think? There will be mittens to go along with it. Rowan 4 ply soft.

Just before the book proposal was accepted I finished this design, out of Classic Elite Inca, 100% alpaca. It's not meant to be in the book, but it certainly will make a nice backup if one of the other tops doesn't work out.

Today was my first full day working on Knitted Gifts. Let's see, all I have to do is design 30 things, knit them, write playful banter, sounds fun. So let's see, I'll pick my yarn...okay and then my brain explodes right about here for some reason. I thought this would be the fun part. Why is this hard? Maybe this project will force me to deal with my commitment issues... it's six o'clock and every inch of my room and the living room looks like this photograph. I think I made some progress today...
