June's Favorite Cardigan is here.

It's been a year since I've created one of my signature cardigans for knitbot.  I hope this one was worth waiting for!

June's Favorite Cardigan is worked seamlessly from the bottom up, just like Schoodic and Walpole.  I've added a new video to my tutorials section demonstrating how to connect the body and sleeves before working the yoke.  Hopefully this is helpful if you are new to knitting this type of construction.

I love this design.  It's an open front raglan.  It's white.  And it's inspired by my grandmother's favorite cardigan.  I do hope some of you fall in love with it, too!

My friends here at Quince have a special offer for you knitters - buy 8 skeins or more of Lark and receive a free Quince tote! ($14 value - Note: To receive your free tote, you need to actually add it to your shopping cart.)
Quince & Co. coupon code: JUNESFAV  Offer ends 3/22/13.

I don't know about you, but I am a little obsessed with tote bags.  Ask my husband.  Our entry way runneth over with them.  That doesn't keep me from adding to the collection!

I've just returned from a two week vacation.  I'm feeling as refreshed as you can after being away with a toddler and a baby.

I am looking forward to releasing June's Favorite Cardigan this week.  Stay tuned!

Blog Tour: Botanical Knits

***Congratulations, Lydia Mulligan, winner of this giveaway!  Send me an e-mail and I will get your e-book to you. ******

Well, she's done it again.  My friend Alana has self published another amazing book.

Botanical Knits is full of her signature work - designs inspired by trees and foliage.  From the moment we were given a preview, fans have been showing their adoration for what Alana does best, giving the patterns record favorites on Ravelry.  And I understand during her recent trip to Stitches West there were an amazing number of knitters showing off completed pieces from the book.  The patterns had only been available for two weeks!  Incredible.

I do hope you'll head over and visit the lovely Botanical Knits website.  Get inspired...buy the book!

Which design is your favorite?  Let us know.  We'll pick a winner at random on Friday, March 8 for a copy of the e-book!
