Piper and Ella

Last week Quince and Co. released their newest yarn: Piper.  It's a beauty.  Both the merino and mohair in this 50/50 blend are sourced from Texas.  It's single ply and "almost lace weight", which of course I love, love, love.  Featherweight or Wispy Cardi would be stunning in this yarn. Or how about Ella?

This yarn is soft, and comes in an equally soft color palette.  Even when knit at a loose gauge I found it offered great stitch definition, and so I chose this simple double seed stitch pattern.  This is a minimalist cardigan (or bolero some might say), so if you'd like to try Piper this will fly off the needles and give you something to wear on a cooler evening this summer.
